Exhibitors‘ statements Saw Expo 2018

Hüseyin Toruk, Azak Takim Teknolojileri A.S.
"Altough we participated in an exhibition for the first time, it was a very good experience for us. Especially the focus on only sector gave us some advantages. We had much more time for our guests. Even though the number of visitors was relatively low, their quality was very good. The organisation team supported us excellently and we enjoyed the fascinating beauty and history of the city of Augsburg."

Umesh Chaube, Alfa Blades
"On a professional and personal level I am very satisfied with our decision to participate at Saw Expo. Even though the number of visitors was limited it was very beneficial to us. All visitors came to Augsburg especially for sawing technologies and we had intensive conversations to understand their requirements and explain our solutions. The organisation was excellent and supportive for exhibitors and visitors and we look forward to attending the next Saw Expo."

Thomas Walter, Walter GmbH Präzisions-Kreissägeblätter
"The first Saw Expo event saw us exhibiting for the first time ever. Thanks to the focused audience, we were able to have in-depth technical discussions; “quality not quantity” sums it up nicely. We will definitely be exhibiting at next year’s Saw Expo, particularly since the plan is to expand the exhibition to include aluminium processing."

Peter Brommer, SCS-Peter Brommer Sawcraft Cutting Solutions

"A very interesting exhibition, with cutting at its core; a manageable number of visitors stopping at our stand and great potential for growth!"

Jürgen Held, Fischer Elektromotoren GmbH

"All things considered, I was very satisfied. My approach is to explore new sectors and seek out new contacts and business fields, and I’ve done just that in the metal cutting sector. What’s more, the visitor quality was top-class - everyone who stopped at our stand was of very high quality. And we’ve done business at the exhibition by forming partnerships with the manufacturers of saw cutting blades, machines and transmissions up to managing director level."

Günter Niethammer, Staco Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH
"Despite moderate expectations we decided to participate at Saw Expo in Augsburg and though the visitor numbers were low we haven’t regretted our decision in the least. As far as the visitors were concerned, it was a case of quality not quantity. As a sales rep for tensioning systems for grinding machines, Grindtec, which I have been a part of since the start, was and is one of the best and most successful trade fairs. I wish the same success for the Saw Expo team; we will be coming here again!"

Peter Jackisch, SPONTAN Trenn- und Entgrattechnik GmbH & CO. KG

"Saw Expo was a very positive exhibiting opportunity for us at Spontan, not just in terms of its technical focus but also from the point of view of getting to know our competitors as human beings! Spontan will definitely be taking part at the next Saw Expo."

Gudrun Richter, J.N. Eberle & Cie. GmbH

"Saw Expo in Augsburg, with its spotlight on cutting, was a hugely successful exhibition for our company. Finally here is an event which provides the perfect platform for cutting technologies. We had many enthusiastic customers coming to our exhibition stand to enquire about our products and cutting capabilities. Thank you to all the visitors for your time and to the organisers for a perfectly organised exhibition."

Marc Hoffmann, TSUNE Europa GmbH
"To summarise: superbly organised, a knowledgeable specialist audience, concrete project discussions and everything in close proximity. Augsburg as a venue – generally positive. We’ll be exhibiting again."

Michael Kornherr, KORNHERR Industrievertretungen - MIKOIND
"After careful consideration we decided to opt to exhibit for the first time ever at Saw Expo. Against all expectations and despite the relatively low visitor numbers we were busy throughout the event from the first minute right until the end.
We had intensive and targeted conversations with our customers and partners and the calibre of the contacts was high. Our thanks go to the organisers and all those who visited our exhibition stand."

Tim Mayer, Fraunhofer IPA, Kompetenzzentrum Sägen
"Saw Expo was a very successful event for Fraunhofer IPA. For us as a research institute, the opportunity to have lots of conversations about specific projects and the high number of trade visitors made the exhibition very attractive. We are looking forward to participating at the next event."

Dogan Süzen, Rodo AG
"Saw Expo as a concept is fascinating - cutting and nothing more. It’s made it out of the starting blocks and only time will tell, whether customers will support this exhibition. As it happens, we are working flat out to deal with the enquiries from the visitors who attended our stand. For us the exhibition was a complete success. Our thanks go to the visitors for their interest in our company and our products; we can confirm, that only 50% of the companies visiting our stand were from German speaking countries, the rest were a mixture of international companies. Many thanks to the excellent organisers."

Gerhard Breuer, Apparatebau Clemens Bous GmbH & Co. KG
"For many years we have been loyal exhibitors at TUBE – where “to see and be seen” is of great importance and brief conversations are not only usually the norm, but what the participants want.
Saw Expo acts the perfect counterpart to this: an event where you can have technical discussions with your customers at length, as well as develop networks and partnerships with the exhibitors. It’s a combination which allows us together to explore new and interesting possibilities. And we were able to be a part of making this happen this year.
Many thanks to the fantastic exhibition team, to the other exhibitors (the term ‘business associate’ gained here a new and more human face) and to the interested technical visitors, who by attending helped confirm a future for this exhibition.
Even though our cleaning technologies tend to be regarded as peripheral to cutting technologies, as a Premium Partner, our company can look back on a successful week, which gives us confidence for the future. We are really excited about the next  Saw Expo."
